Hey there! We're KESSHŌ, your friendly Austin-based craft chocolate creators. Our co-founders, Liang Wang and Mark Huetsch, embarked on this sweet adventure to weave together their favorite Asian flavors with bean-to-bar chocolate.

KESSHŌ — a name that translates to "Crystal" in Japanese — has dual significance for us. On one hand, it pays homage to the splendid crystalline structure of chocolate. But on a deeper level, "KESSHŌ" signifies the rewards that spring from laboring over what you love, embodying our painstakingly precise bean-to-bar process. This location is our food trailer serving Asian inspired gelatos, chocolate baked goods, chocolate drinks made with our craft chocolate.

The gelato here is so good! I love to stop by whenever I am nearby and trying out new flavors, today I tried the cookies and cream flavor and it was delicious! I will be certainly be back to enjoy more gelato again!!

The mango sticky rice and black sesame flavors were my fav! The girl working there was so nice and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. Very creamy and good variety of different gelatos.

Great chocolate and biscuit! Kessho chocolate is the best bean-to-bar chocolate I've ever had. Each flavor is pretty amazing and unique with best ingredients. You must try the yuzu one. And the sesame cookie is also amazing, with rich intense sesame aroma.

We went a little off the norm today and tried out Kesshō Craft chocolate and Gelato. It's in a trailer park off Burnet Rd. I've had Kesshō chocolate before..and it's really good - locally made and hand crafted! My husband tried their new sichuan hot pot chocolate - has a creeper heat that gets you right at the end! He gave it two thumbs up! The gelato is made from scratch at their local kitchen and they have some definite 'different' flavors! Since I was trying to be 'off the norm', I had the mango sticky rice (vegan! made from coconut milk) and it was amazing! It even had little mango pieces in the pulp. Hubs had the caramel banana - it had shoyu in it - and he really thought the shoyu combined with caramel made for a deeper umami flavor! We would definitely go back and try some more flavors! Service was great - and she was very helpful! If you haven't been, highly recommend!

The most top tier ice cream I have had in a looong time! The thoughtfully sourced ingredients were surprisingly and delightful. We were indecisive but agreed on the black sesame and ceremonial match. They even have black sesame waffle cones!!!! We asked about where to find them again (they are in local shops and Central Market).
